At SimpliMD the purpose of guest posts is to publish something that brings a fresh perspective on small business topics. We prefer the posts to be exclusively from our members or industry experts. The overarching goal is enhance and grow the small business competency of our members.
Please note that non-source reference link insertions are removed prior to publication. SimpliMD allows for one do-follow link in the author’s bio at the end of the article to link readers with your blog or business.
Guest Post Article Guidelines
Before submitting a proposed article, please ensure that all guidelines and considerations have been followed.
The content of a proposed guest post article should be:
#1 Authored by an Industry Expert or Member of SimpliMD
Guest posts are reserved for industry experts and members of SimpliMD.
#2 No Advertising
Guest posts at SimpliMD are not meant to be advertisements. However, with approval, affiliate relationships with SimpliMD may linked in your article.
#3 Different
Your content must have not been published elsewhere. As part of the submission process, you will give SimpliMD the copyright to the material.
#4 Beneficial
Proposed guest post articles should be beneficial to our SimpliMD members and should provide content that is not already found on this website.
#5 Timing
Should your article be accepted, SimpliMD alone will determine the optimal timing for it's publication to our members.
#6 Quality
Your article should be well-written, and concisely communicate your main points and takeaways. We reserve the right to edit and improve you article if needed.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy
Writers will not use artificial intelligence (AI) or any similar tools in place of their own writing to complete their work.
However we support the use of AI for research or organizing your post.
Length and Format
We recommend that you submit your proposed article in a similar length and format to other posts on the SimpliMD site.
Length: Most articles on our website are 1,400-2,500 words. Please note that articles less than 600 words are considered too short and more than 4,000 words are too long.
Headings: SimpliMD encourages you to add headings to your article, but be aware that your headings are subject to change.
Formatting: All formatting is subject to removal during the editorial process.
